Braves Win

So I am a huge Atlanta Braves fan.  Some may ask why, and my answer is always the same.  I was born in the 80's, grew up in the 90's, and we had cable.  For those of you that don't know, the Ted Turner owned the Braves and TBS.  That meant that every Braves game was on TBS.  It was a great idea for growing a fan base, well that and 14 straight division championships, suck it Yankees.

Well last night was the first win the Braves have had this season.  It was another great performance by Tommy Hanson, and Chipper Jones hit a home run is his first game back.  That would seem like great news, but it still left a sour taste in my mouth.  Once Hanson was out, the pen gave up two more runs and forced the Braves to score late.  This game should have been a 5-2 game instead of a 6-4.  That may not mean a lot to the rest of you, but to me it just shows the holes they need to sure up.

Hopefully having Chipper back will give them the on field leadership they need.  That and the bullpen needs to have better damage control.  The 8th and 9th innings are going to be a desert, but we need outs in the 6th and 7th.
